Brittany is a third year law student who will be graduating in May 2018. Over her summer as a law clerk an attorney advised her of the importance of tribal law, specifically in New Mexico. Brittany joined the Tribal Law Journal to gain a better understanding of tribal law and its importance in practicing law in New Mexico. As Symposium Co-Editor Brittany had the opportunity to help with the planning and organization of the 50th Anniversary of the Indian Civil Rights Act Symposium. She thoroughly enjoyed this experience of getting to learn about the Indian Civil Rights Act and work closely with the staff and editors to help with a successful symposium.
